Turkish Forces Target Civilian Areas in Northern Aleppo, Leaving 10 Injured

Turkish forces and their allied militias stationed in the occupied city of Mare’ targeted residential neighborhoods in the towns of Tal Rifaat and the village of Halisah in northern Aleppo on yesterday’s evening. The heavy artillery and rocket fire led to a dangerous escalation in the region, resulting in the injury of 10 civilians, including children and women.

In Tal Rifaat, the shelling caused injuries to several civilians with varying degrees of severity. The wounded included: Musa Hussein Fando, 40; Wael Hussein Fando, 19; Ahmad Mohammed Ali, 23; Heva Shukri Khalil, 10; Farida Shukri Khalil, 24; Heva Shukri Khalil, 15; Khalil Shukri Khalil, 25; Shukri Khalil Khalil, 6; Mohammed Khalil Khalil, 1; and Fatima Khalil Khalil, 4. The injured were transferred to hospitals for treatment, with some reported to be in critical condition while others sustained moderate injuries.

Earlier yesterday, Turkish forces also shelled the village of Halisah in the Shahba region, leading to the death of one civilian and injuries to three children, whose conditions were described as varying in severity.
