Our correspondent reported that the Turkish-backed “Border Guard” militia in Bulbul sub-district detained seven individuals, including Kurdish citizens and residents from Aleppo, three days ago. The detainees were identified as: Reber Hassan Rashid, 34, from the village of Kakhera in Maabatli, Mustafa Ahmad Ahmad, 42, from the town of Baadina in Rajo, and Anwar Mohammed Ali, 40, also from Baadina in Rajo. In addition to four persons from the city of Aleppo
According to the correspondent, the arrests occurred while the group attempted to cross into Turkey for migration purposes, facilitated by a smuggler from Azaz. They are currently being held in a detention facility in Bulbul.
It was further revealed that such cases are often accompanied by financial extortion, with detainees and their families coerced into paying bribes for their release. This practice highlights the ongoing exploitation of vulnerable individuals attempting to flee conflict and economic hardship.
