Our correspondent reports that five days ago, the “Political Section” of the “Military Police” militia detained Farhad Amin Ali (44) from the village of Kakhreh in Mobato/Maabatli sub-district. Farhad was taken from a home in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, Afrin, shortly after his forced deportation from Turkey.
In a separate incident, two days ago, the “Border Guard” militia arrested Mohammad Anas Mossalli (47), a resident of Aleppo, as he attempted to cross into Turkey via smugglers in the Azaz region. The militia has demanded a $10,000 ransom from his family for his release.
