Local source told afrinpost that two IDP youths working at a pastry shop on Mosque Street in central Rajo assaulted a Kurdish youth on Wednesday, May 22.
The attack occurred at a nearby men’s clothing store owned by Ahmed Sabri Dawood, where the victim works, following a dispute over the placement of a mannequin for displaying clothes.
The attackers have been identified as Mustafa Mohammed Sheikh, 22, from Anjara in western Aleppo, who formerly fought with his father in the ranks of the “Nour al-Din al-Zenki” militia and currently resides with relatives under the protection of the Failaq Al-Sham” in the village of Chaqmaq Kabir, and Abu Arab, 21, from Ghouta, associated with the “Jaish Al-Islam” militia. Both attacked “Rashid Ezzat Bilal”, 16, from the village of Mamal Sharqi.
Notably, Mohammed Sheikh from Anjara has seized the shop previously owned by forcibly displaced Mohammed Atto and turned it into a pastry shop. He and his siblings have also taken over three other stores in the town, opening businesses for selling gas cylinders and clothes.
