In a recent development reported by our correspondent in Afrin, it has come to light that two seized houses in Afrin, belonging to Kurdish residents Bilal Rashid and Mohammad Rashid from the town of Bulbul, have been sold to an IDP from Aleppo.
The IDP, identified as Faiz al-Mohammad from Aleppo’s Hanano neighborhood, acquired the properties for $1200 US dollars each. These houses, unlawfully seized years ago, were sold under questionable circumstances, raising concerns about property rights and the displacement of Kurdish families in Afrin.
