According to an our correspondent, the Sultan Murad Division militia recently cut down trees on both sides of the Afrin River near the bridge of Qastal Kashk village, north of Afrin city. These trees had long served as a destination for nature enthusiasts.
The militia’s action aimed at timber harvesting and trading in the first instance, while planning to erect canopies in their place for rent to holidaymakers on weekends.
Meanwhile, in the vicinity of the same location, armed individuals plundered green wheat from two fields owned by residents Khalil Ismail and Mustafa Mohammed, adjacent to Ister village.
