Local sources in Afrin confirm the burglary of a Kurdish citizen’s home while attending a Newroz celebration on March 22nd. This incident unfolds amid ongoing car and motorcycle thefts, highlighting the security vacuum and chaos prevailing in occupied Afrin.
Details reveal armed thieves infiltrating Hassan Moussa’s residence in Meydana – Rajo while he and his family were out celebrating Newroz. They stole electrical appliances, solar panels, and brass utensils near Saleh Al-Ali School in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood.
In a separate incident, a Suzuki car was stolen near Zakaria Habash School in Al-Zediyya neighborhood this morning, belonging to Ahmed Ali from Araba village – Mobata district. The car was spotted heading towards Idlib province.
Earlier on March 13th, a motorcycle was stolen near Abu Jawdat Falafel, owned by Shiyar Mohammed from Tillef – Jinderes, as he stopped to buy food an hour before Iftar, in occupied Afrin city.
