Yesterday evening, March 24, Turkish forces heavily shelled the villages of Beiloniya and Ain Daghna in the Shahba region of northern Aleppo countryside, using rocket launchers and heavy artillery. The shelling led to the tragic death of Rashid Abdo Hamo, a 35-year-old resident of Mobata/Ma’batli sub-district in occupied Afrin, and another civilian sustained serious injuries.
According to our correspondent in the area, it was impossible to evacuate the two victims due to the ongoing Turkish bombardment. After the shelling ceased, the injured were transported to Avrin Hospital in the village of Fafin in the Shahba region. However, Rashid succumbed to his injuries, while the other victim remains in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
