Turkish Forces Arrest Kurdish Citizen in Jindires, Afrin

According to our reporter in Afrin, Turkish forces detained citizen “Rezan Hanan Ali” (38 years old) on March 2nd from Jindires, accusing him of being a customs officer during the previous Autonomous Administration, as part of the recent wave of arrests targeting residents of Jindires in the occupied Afrin countryside.

This happened during the wide arrest campaign launched by the Turkish authorities against several citizens and residents of Jindires city in the Afrin countryside on March 2nd, accusing them of past affiliation with the Autonomous Administration.

“afrinpost” was able to ascertain the names of three other citizens alongside “Rezan Hanan” : Omar Rasho (43 years old) and Nahad Hassan (37 years old), arrested for their alleged employment in one of the administration’s institutions, and Ziad Rashid Mohammed (48 years old), detained for appearing in a video during the Autonomous Administration era. Additionally, a fourth individual from Idlib was also detained.
