Today, March 24, the military police militia arrested Ahmed Jumaa, a 45-year-old resident of Qurbe village in the Jindires sub-district, from his home in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood of occupied Afrin city. The reason for his arrest remains unknown, according to our correspondent.
This comes after the recent arrest on March 22 of Mohammed Hassan Hassan from his home in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, on charges related to previous involvement with Autonomous Administration institutions.
“afrinpost” has documented a total of 39 cases of arrest and abduction since the beginning of March 2024, including 3 women, and 10 cases targeting returning citizens. Additionally, 20 cases of release have been documented.
