In occupied Afrin, illegal property sales of belongings seized by force from Kurdish civilians occur almost daily, orchestrated by armed individuals aligned with Turkish-backed militia groups.
Recently, a member of “Ahmed Afash” faction, part of the “Sultan Murad Division”, from Anadan town in rural Aleppo, sold a hall belonging to Abdin Bakr, a resident of Hamshalk village in Rajo district, located in Al-Ashrafiyah neighborhood, to a relative for $3000.
Additionally, a militia member hailing from rural Hama, named Abdulaziz Al-Ahmad, also affiliated with the “Sultan Murad Division”, sold the house of Khalil Nouri Hassan, a resident of Hasandera village in Bulbul district, near Osama Mosque in Al-Mahmoudiya neighborhood, for $1800.
Furthermore, the apartment of Rajab Khalil, a resident of Bulbul, located on the second floor of Haidar Bakr building near Judy Bakery in Al-Ashrafiyah neighborhood, was sold for $1200.
