In yet another crime within a week, another Kurdish teenager fell victim to knife attacks by vengeful IDPs yesterday, March 15th, and was subsequently taken to a hospital in the occupied city of Afrin.
According to our correspondent, 16-year-old Rudî Mohamed Jekel, from Jindires district, was beaten and stabbed in his right leg by three IDP youths near the Avrin Hospital, on Vellat Street, in the occupied city of Afrin.
Our correspondent, quoting some witnesses, reported that the IDPs who assaulted the minor, Rudî, reside in the same neighborhood, and their relatives belong to the “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia. He pointed out that Rudî’s family fears the consequences of speaking out about their son’s beating and stabbing.
This incident comes two days after the murder of Kurdish teenager Ahmad Khalid Mamo Made, on March 13th, with ten stab wounds inflicted by the IDP Yamen Al-Ibrahim in Jindirez town, who then disposed of his body in a well on the road to the village of Tel Sallor in Jindires sub-district.
It is worth mentioning that on the afternoon of February 25, 2014, student Shiyar Ibrahim Omar was subjected to a bloody assault with the intent to kill inside a classroom at the Ma’batli High School by four IDP students from rural Aleppo and Hama. Knives and a military bayonet were used in the attack, causing severe bleeding. He was immediately taken to a clinic in Mobata town and then transferred to the Amanos Hospital in Afrin city, where necessary surgical intervention was performed to save his life.
