Our reporter in Afrin said that Turkish-affiliated “military police” militia released citizen “Lamaan Sido Rashid” from the village of Matina – in the Shara district, on February 6, on bail amounting to $2000, in the occupied city of Afrin.
Citizen “Lamaan Sido Rashid” (45 years old) was detained on January 17 in the village of Matina in the Şera\ Sharan district by a patrol belonging to the military police militia, after informants from the village filed a malicious report against her, accusing her of dealing with the Autonomous Administration.
“afrinpost” documented 48 cases of arrests and abductions during January 2024, including 9 women and 3 minors, and the arrest of 3 citizens on Turkish territory. Nine detainees were transferred from occupied Afrin to Turkish territory, while twelve cases of release were documented.
