On February 22, the Turkish court in Afrin released Kurdish citizen “Iyad Rashid” from Khalnereh, after his family paid a sum of five thousand dollars, as reported as our correspondent in Afrin.
Rashid was arrested by the Political Security Militia from his home on Rajo Street in central occupied Afrin on February 8, on charges of joining the People’s Protection Units (YPG) during the previous Autonomous Administration in Afrin.
Rashid, who used to be a sports teacher under the Syrian regime, returned to Afrin from Aleppo about two months ago.
It is worth noting that the court on the same day also released “Ahmed Abdul Rahman Rajab” from the village of Kafr Hamra in the countryside of Aleppo, and “Abdul Karim Hassan Al-Ahmad” from the town of Al-Lairamoun in the countryside of Aleppo.
