Late on the night of January 15, Turkish forces stationed at the Hazwan base in the eastern countryside of Aleppo targeted the villages of Al-Shaala and Talal Al-Anab in the Shahba region, northern Aleppo. Additionally, the village of Ming received similar artillery shelling. The extent of the damages is yet to be confirmed, as reported by our correspondent in the area.
The correspondent added that the Syrian regime forces responded with artillery shelling in the vicinity of the city of Al-Bab in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
Meanwhile, the Manbij Military Council stated in an official statement, “The Turkish forces renewed its shelling today, Tuesday, on the populated villages of northern and western Manbij in the early morning hours.” The shelling targeted the villages of Al-Farat, Al-Dandaniyah, Umm Adsa, Al-Sayyadah, Qurt Wiran, Al-Yalani, and Al-Arima, according to the statement.
The Turkish aggression is not limited to Aleppo’s countryside, as areas in northern and eastern Syria witness intense Turkish airstrikes. The airstrikes have affected the infrastructure in regions stretching from Kobani through Ain Issa to cities like Derbasiyah, Qamishli, Tal Tamr, and even reached oil, gas, and electricity stations, causing destruction and damage until yesterday, Monday.
