In a distressing incident today, December 5th, a suicide drone belonging to the Turkish army targeted a civilian car in the village of Harbul, located in the northern Aleppo countryside. The attack resulted in the injury of a Kurdish individual named “Azad,” who had been forcibly displaced from Afrin. Fortunately, his injuries were minor, primarily affecting his leg, but his vehicle sustained notable damage.
It is noteworthy that Turkish forces have escalated the use of suicide drones to target civilians and Syrian regime positions. The latest attack on December 3rd in the village of Abbin in the Sherawa district led to injuries, including severe wounds to a civilian named “Issa Kaddo” and a soldier.
