Fierce confrontations erupted with heavy and medium machine gun fire between National Army militias and Syrian regime forces along the Tadef axis in the occupied countryside of Al-Bab. The exchange also involved intense artillery shelling from both sides, while no immediate information on human losses on either side has been reported.
Simultaneously, intense clashes unfolded between the Afrin Liberation Forces and the Syrian National Army militia along the Tellel Hawa and Al-Jatil axes in the eastern Aleppo countryside. The clashes persisted until dawn, coinciding with artillery shellings targeting the Turkish base in the village of Dabiq in northern Aleppo countryside.
This escalation follows the Turkish forces’ targeting of civilian-populated villages in the Shahba region. Villages such as Um Al-Qura, Tell Madiq, Al-Sha’ala, and the surroundings of Tell Rifaat were subjected to intensive artillery bombardment in retaliation.
