Syrian Regime Soldiers Shoot Two Youths Near Burj Al-Qas

afrinpost-Exclusive

Yesterday, on November 11, soldiers from the Syrian regime army opened fire on two young men, Ahmed and Khaled, from the village of Burj Al-Qas, at the checkpoint located on the road between Burj Al-Qas and Nubl in northern Aleppo countryside. The incident resulted in both individuals sustaining injuries.

This comes just days after Iranian-backed militias in the cities of Nubl and Zahra abducted forcibly displaced residents of Afrin, seizing their vehicles in the northern Aleppo countryside on November 6, without clear reasons. Following the intervention of local elders from Nubl and Zahra, the captives were released the next day.
