In the early hours of November 19, an infiltration operation conducted by the Afrin Liberation Forces resulted in the death of a member of the “Hamza Brigade” militia, with three others sustaining severe injuries. The targeted sites were along the Kimar axis in the Shara district of occupied Afrin. The operation unfolded amidst heightened artillery exchanges between the Afrin Liberation Forces and the militia.
Simultaneously, two members of the “National Army” militias faced injuries as Syrian regime forces launched rocket barrages, hitting their positions on the Aoun al-Dadat axis in the eastern outskirts of Aleppo province.
In a separate development, the Syrian regime forces, employing heavy artillery, shelled the villages of Al-Qasr and Kafr Nuran in the western countryside of Aleppo.
These events follow the recent death of a Colonel in the Syrian regime army, a result of shelling by the “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” organization targeting positions along the 46th Brigade axis in the western countryside of Aleppo.
