An IDP from the southern Aleppo countryside is demanding $3,000 in exchange for vacating a seized house in the vicinity of the Cultural Center in the occupied city of Afrin, as reported by our correspondent.
The correspondent added that the homeowner is Mr. “Haider Mousa” from the village of Meydana in the Rajo district. He returned from Aleppo about a month ago and requested his house. However, the IDP refused to evacuate and then insisted on a payment of $3,000, claiming it is compensation for the costs he incurred in repairing the house after the earthquake on February 6, 2023. It’s worth noting that Shafaq Organization covered the expenses for the house repairs.
On November 15, the Turkish-backed Military Police militia arrested “Imad Hassan” (49 years old) from the village of Khalnereh. He returned a week before from Aleppo, demanding his house located near the Rajo road, close to the Vin restaurant in the occupied city of Afrin. The house is being seized by a member of the “Sultan Murad” militia.
