Our correspondent in Afrin reported that unauthorized sales of homes and businesses owned by the original Kurdish residents of Afrin are ongoing. These properties were forcefully seized by the leaders of Turkish-backed militias and their armed members in the occupied city of Afrin.

In the details, the leader of the “Sultan Murad” militia, known as “Mohammed Oso Hayani,” sold a shop located on al-Sarfis Road in al-Ashrafiyah neighborhood to an IDP from al-Ghouta of Damascus for $1,400. The shop is owned by “Hassan Horo,” from the village of Sheikhurzeh in the Bulbul sub-district.

Additionally, a member affiliated with the “Ahrar al-Sham” militia sold the house of Mr. “Ali Jummo,” from the village of Barad in the Sherawa sub-district. The house is located near the Bayraq Bakery in al-Ashrafiyah neighborhood and was sold to an IDP from al-Ghouta named “Ahmad Haj Ali” for $1,000.
