Turkish Forces Target Villages in Afrin, Inflicts Damage on Syrian Regime Forces

In the early hours of October 26, the Turkish forces targeted the villages of Aqibah and Abbin Al-Ziyarah in the Sherawa sub-district in Afrin. This attack occurred amid continuous flights of Turkish reconnaissance aircraft in the region, resulting in material damage and injuries among the Syrian regime forces.

Five soldiers were reported injured, and two vehicles, including a BMB and a van, were destroyed. Additionally, a military position of the Syrian regime forces was damaged on the axis between the villages of Al-Ziyarah and Aqibah.

In related developments, sporadic clashes took place yesterday evening between the Syrian regime forces and the Syrian National Army militias on the axis of Sheikh Isa village, coinciding with the Turkish forces targeting the village of Ziywan in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

The Syrian regime forces retaliated by shelling the positions of Syrian National Army militias on the Olashli axis in the eastern Aleppo countryside.

In Idlib, Russian warplanes carried out intensive airstrikes on the positions and fortifications of the “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” organization on the axes of Arab Saeed village and the town of Bsanqul in the Idlib countryside. These attacks resulted in the deaths of three militants, among whom were “Qasura al-Ansari” and “Aboud al-Ladhqani.
