This morning, October 9th, a Syrian soldier named “Ahmad Khalil Al-Jakhidam” from the province of Daraa lost his life due to injuries sustained in the shelling by Turkish forces on villages in northern Aleppo’s countryside.

The shelling, which occurred last night, targeted the villages of Shaala, Umm Al-Qura, Al-Biluniyah, Ain Daghna, and Meng Military Airport in northern Aleppo’s countryside, as well as Shawargha, Maraanaz, and Kaloteh in the Shirawa sub-district of Afrin’s countryside.

On another note, there is an ongoing displacement of civilians from Idlib and western Aleppo countryside towards the villages of Afrin, particularly in the Bulbul sub-district, in response to the intense shelling by the Syrian regime forces on towns and villages in Idlib province and Aleppo’s countryside.
