afrinpost-Exclusive

Afrin Liberation Forces successfully shot down a Turkish drone today, on October 8th, in the vicinity of the village of Tenneb in the Shara sub-district of occupied Afrin. This incident coincided with the Turkish forces targeting the surroundings of the village of Khalouta in the Shara sub,-district with several shells, resulting in limited material damage.

In a related development, Russian fighter jets conducted airstrikes on positions held by the “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” organization in the Kabana Mountains axis in northern Latakia. These airstrikes were in response to the organization’s firing of multiple rocket shells at the city of Qardaha in the Latakia countryside.

It’s worth noting that the Syrian regime’s army has continued its intense shelling for the fourth consecutive day using various types of weaponry in the countryside of Idlib, Hama, Aleppo, and Latakia. This escalation follows the recent attack on the “Military College” in the city of Homs, resulting in the deaths of 130 individuals, including both military personnel and civilians.
