Today, on October 6, the Afrin Liberation Forces announced the successful execution of a high-impact operation against the Turkish forces base in the village of Dabiq, located in the occupied Azaz district of northern Aleppo. This operation, carried out on October 5, resulted in the death of five Turkish soldiers and left nine others severely wounded.
The Afrin Liberation Forces revealed in their statement that they targeted a vehicle and the Turkish base, managing to down a Turkish army drone in the village of Shawargha, part of the Sharan sub-district in the Afrin region.
On October 5th, our correspondent reported the deaths of two soldiers, identified as Hussein Shamshek and Murad Hussein, due to an intense missile strike on the Turkish base in the village of Dabiq. The source of the strike was the Shahbaa region in the northern Aleppo countryside.
The Afrin Liberation Forces stated that this operation was in response to the Turkish army and its armed militias targeting vital service facilities and locations with essential needs.
On October 5, the Turkish army escalated its bombardment on various villages, including Shawargha, Maranaz, Keshetar, Soghankah, Bayn, Zouk Kebirah/Kundi Mazin, Deer Jamal, Ziyara, Miyaseh, Shaala, Ziwan, Sheikh Isa, Kafrnaya, and the town of Tel Rifaat, utilizing armed drones, heavy artillery, and mortar cannons.
Additionally, fighter jets targeted the villages of Beiluniyeh, Ain Dakneh, Malikiyeh, Ziyarah, and the Ming Airport.
