Our reporter in Afrin said that on September 12, 2023, Turkish intelligence arrested a 50-year-old woman named “Nazira Hamid Mustafa” from her home in the village of Sheikhoutka in the Mobata sub-district. She was detained on charges of working for institutions affiliated with the former Autonomous Administration in Afrin.
It’s worth noting that Nazira’s arrest occurred simultaneously with the arrest of “Nazifa Yusuf” and her infant child on the same charges. However, Nazifa and her child were released on September 14, after two days, while Nazira remains in custody.
