On September 1st, the Turkish-affiliated military police arrested the Kurdish citizen ‘Shiyar Mustafa’ (32 years old) from his home in al-Zaydia neighborhood of the occupied city of Afrin.
Citizen ‘Shiyar’ hails from Mobata and the reasons for his arrest are not known. It is worth noting that he had been in Lebanon and returned from there to his family in Afrin approximately five days ago.
‘afrinpost‘ has documented 41 cases of arrests and abductions during August 2023, including two women and a minor, as well as 7 cases of Turkish-deported citizens. Additionally, 14 cases of release have been documented, including cases of previous arrests.
