Seven Injured as Syrian Army Targets Civilian Van in Afrin

Seven Kurdish civilians from the villages of Berj Suleiman and Kabashin in the Sherawa sub-district were injured yesterday, July 4th, when the Syrian government forces stationed at Mount Sheikh Aqeel targeted a civilian van on the Fafertin-Burjka road in Sherawa sub-district, occupied Afrin.

According to our correspondent, the Kurdish civilians were returning to their villages after a visit to the occupied city of Afrin when they were hit by a guided missile fired by the Syrian government forces. The attack resulted in injuries to Mustafa Jamal, Nihad Issou, Ahmad Ahmad Hindi, Mohammad Ahmad Hindi, and Mohammad Suleiman from the village of Kabashin, as well as Mohammad Said from Berj Heidar village and Emad Al-Din from Berj Suleiman village. They were immediately transported to hospitals in Afrin for treatment.

Furthermore, another guided missile struck a van belonging to the “Faylaq al-Sham” militia on the same axis, resulting in injuries to one of the militia members who was also taken to hospitals in Afrin for medical treatment
