Russian warplanes launched raids today, August 30, on the supply lines of the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham organization on the Al-Bara and Al-Fatira axes in Jabal Al-Zawiya in the southern Idlib countryside, in conjunction with the Syrian regime army’s bombing of the towns of Maarat Al-Naasan, Majdalia and Ma’rablit in the Idlib countryside.
The lines that were bombed are weapons supply routes for the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham organization towards the village of al-Malajah in the southern countryside of Idlib, which the Syrian regime’s army is trying hard to regain control of, after losing the village in a violent attack launched by the organizations of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham and the Turkestan Islamic Party by blowing up tunnels under the Surian regime’s army positions.
On August 26, elements of Tahrir al-Sham and Turkestani were able to control the village of al-Malajah, after blowing up tunnels and infiltrating the positions of the Syrian regime army, and then taking control of the village after violent battles between the two sides, which resulted in the death of nine soldiers from the Syrian regime army and the wounding of 17 others.
