afrinpost-Exclusive

Our reporter in Afrin stated that Turkish authorities have detained a Kurdish woman from Afrin, identified as “Newroz,” aged 35. She was apprehended upon her arrival from Aleppo in the village of Mersawa, located in the Shara subdistrict of occupied Afrin.

It is noted that Turkish authorities are conducting arrests of individuals coming from areas under the control of the Syrian government. They impose fines as a condition for their release.

Furthermore, a wave of arrests has been launched against residents of the village of Jalameh in the Jindires subdistrict. Around ten individuals have been detained under pre-fabricated charges related to their supposed dealings with the former Autonomous Administration in the occupied Afrin region. Among them are young men who were forcibly displaced from Turkish territory
