Our correspondent reported that the Syrian regime forces positioned near the towns of Nubl and Zahraa shelled the village of Ghazawiya in the Shara sub-district of occupied Afrin on the evening of August 22nd. The shelling involved three rockets, with one rocket hitting near the village cemetery and two within the village itself. This resulted in a civilian named “Ibrahim” from the village of Kabashin being seriously injured.

Two other rockets fell near the Turkish base on the outskirts of the village, amid reports of a guard from the “Faylaq al-Sham” militia being killed.

Earlier on August 18th, a fighter from the Afrin Liberation Forces lost his life, and three others were injured, due to a drone strike by Turkish forces targeting a car near the Al-Zahraa city roundabout in the Northern countryside of Aleppo.
