In a disturbing incident of property violence, armed thieves have once again targeted the Afrin region. Sources from Afrin have reported that approximately 55 olive trees were ruthlessly cut down on August 23rd. This incident took place in the fields situated along the water channel between the villages of Kawkabah and Kafr Zeet in the Jindires subdistrict.

The ownership of these fields belonged to two citizens, “Hassan Bakr” from the village of Badeenah in the Rajo subdistrict and “Mohammed Bakr.” Shockingly, the attackers completely severed 20 trees and partially damaged 35 others.

Furthermore, on the morning of August 28th, a settler named “Abu Walid” from Tel Rifaat reportedly committed a theft. He targeted the contents of a commercial establishment situated along the Trende Road in al-Ashrafiah district. The establishment is owned by “Mohammed Omar,” a resident of the Khaziana village in the Mobata/Maabatli subdistrict.

Adding to the alarming trend, on the evening of August 24th, armed individuals stole agricultural water hoses from the properties of “Mohammed Asaf” and “Hassan Issa.” These hoses were subsequently cut into smaller sections.
