Today, August 5, a militant group released the citizen “Rajab Al-Abu” in the occupied city of Afrin after demanding a ransom of $4,000.
The unidentified armed individuals abducted “Rajab Al-Abu” from a van near his home, located in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, adjacent to the Termanini Quarry. Following the abduction, his son transferred the ransom amount to a person based in Kilis city, Turkey.

The released citizen, aged 60, originally hails from Hanano neighborhood in Aleppo and has been residing in Afrin since 2013, specifically in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood near the Termanini Quarry. He works in collecting and selling used tools.
