On August 6, the Turkish-affiliated “Al-Jabha al-Shamiya” militia abducted Shahin Adham Abdel-Hay from Kaljibrin village in the northern Aleppo countryside while he was heading from his home to the city of A’zaz, according to our sources.

The sources added that the militia demanded a ransom of $200 US dollars from his family in exchange for his release.

In a related incident, militia members manning a checkpoint of the “Al-Jabha al-Shamiya” on the Ahtimalat road in the A’zaz countryside abducted the two brothers, Fayez Hassan Al-Khalil and Mohammed Hassan Al-Khalil, on August 6. They were en route to the town of Al-Ghandoura in the Jarabulus countryside, east of Aleppo.

The brothers, originally from Al-Qusatal village in the Aqirbat district of Hama countryside and belonging to the Mawali tribe, remain missing, and their fate is still unknown.
