Reliable sources confirmed that “Hussein Abdullah,” an armed militant affiliated with the Turkish-affiliated “Fursan al-Sharqiya” faction of the Hamza Brigade, was killed during clashes with the Afrin Liberation Forces on the Julbur axis in the Sherawa region. Several others were seriously wounded in the confrontation.

In another development, Turkish forces targeted the village of Marnaz in the Shara sub-district with heavy artillery on the evening of July 7th. Simultaneously, the Syrian regime’s army shelled a military checkpoint belonging to Turkish forces in the village of Al-Kafir west of Al-Bab city in eastern Aleppo countryside. This resulted in the injury of two guards affiliated with the Syrian National Army militias.

It is worth mentioning that on July 6th, Turkish forces had previously targeted the village of Marnaz in the Shara sub-district with heavy artillery. In response, the Syrian regime’s army retaliated by shelling positions held by the military police and Al-Jabha al-Shamiya at Al-Shat checkpoint west of A’zaz city.
