In the face of the Turkish authorities’ clear disregard for their responsibilities to intervene and stop their attacks, thieves affiliated with Turkish-backed militias and their families are continuing their thefts of local residents’ properties in the occupied region of Afrin.
In this context, the thieves stole two gas canisters, four cans of oil (16 liter each), and copper utensils from the house of citizen “Mohammed Musa” in al-Mahmoudiya neighborhood this morning, taking advantage of his presence in his village in the Meydana town, which is part of the Rajo sub-district.
Yesterday morning, the thieves also stole four firewood saws from a repair shop in the city of Afrin belonging to citizen “Lazgin Mohammed” from the village of Kaxrê in the Mobata/Ma’batli sub-district.
