In a recent escalation, the syrian regime’s army has significantly increased its artillery bombardment on positions held by the hayat tahrir al-sham (hts) terrorist organization in the western countryside of aleppo, the ghab plain in hama countryside, and the southern countryside of idlib.
This comes after a syrian regime soldier was killed on tuesday evening on the axis of the 46th brigade in the western countryside of aleppo.
According to our sources, the syrian regime’s army targeted hts positions with heavy artillery and rockets on the axis of atarib city, as well as the villages of kafr amma and kafr taal in western aleppo. They also targeted the surroundings of deir sunbul in the southern countryside of idlib, and the vicinity of al-ziyara, al-ankawi, and al-mushayk in the ghab plain of hama countryside.
Meanwhile, the syrian regime’s army continued its artillery and missile bombardment on the kabana axis in the Jabal al-Kurd, resulting in varying injuries among hts members.
This concentrated and intensified artillery shelling follows the killing of a syrian regime soldier named “ahmad mahmoud al-tayyib mansour” from the city of al-rastan in homs countryside, on the axis of the 46th brigade in the western countryside of aleppo.
