Joint Turkish intelligence and military police militias arrested three individuals in the evening of April 5th during a raid on homes in the village of Kitix\ Ketekh, located in the Mobata/Maabatli district of occupied Afrin.

Local sources informed afrinpost that the joint patrol arrested Jihad Omar Haidar, Abdul Ali Haidar, and Asia Ahmad Haidar, accusing them of participating in the protests in Jindires that took place in March last year.

The sources added that the occupation authorities released them the following day in exchange for a payment of 250 US dollars per person.

It’s worth noting that Asia Ahmad Haidar has been previously kidnapped and arrested multiple times. On February 2nd, 2022, she was kidnapped by the Turkish-affiliated “Ahrar Al-Sharqieh” militia on charges of working in the institutions of the previous Autonomous Administration. She was also arrested from her home in the village of Ketekh on June 28th, 2021, by the military police militia and was released after three days, following a financial ransom of 2000 Turkish lira paid by her family to the militia.

In 2018, Asia was also subjected to arrest by Turkish intelligence elements and spent about a month in detention, also being released in exchange for a financial ransom.
