Turkish-Backed Militants Destroy 35 Olive Trees in Afrin, Despite Owner’s Presence

Turkish-affiliated militants have cut down 35 olive trees belonging to Mr. Jihad Mohammed, a resident of the village of Baadina in the Rajo district of occupied Afrin.

The militants have cut down 15 trees from their trunks and partially cut down 20 trees from Mr. Jihad’s field, which is located on the road to the village of Istêr, despite his presence in the old neighborhood of Afrin city.

Previously, militants from the Turkish-affiliated u”Al-Hamza/Al-Hamzat” militia had cut down 15 olive trees from the field of Mr. Abdul Rahman Battal, a resident of the village of Marateh near Afrin city, and 45 olive trees belonging to Sheikh Abdul Qader family from the village of Bablit in the Jindires district, on April 1st.
