On April 9th, an armed group from the Turkish-allied Ninth Division militia attempted to rob the home of citizen Mohammed Ismail Nabo in the village of Mamala/Mamali in Rajo sub-district. However, Nabo resisted and managed to apprehend one of the assailants.
According to a reliable source who spoke to afrinpost, four armed individuals from the Ninth Division militia sneaked into Nabo’s home around 2 a.m. One of them aimed a shotgun at Nabo’s head, while another pointed a pistol at his wife, Aytan Gule Khairi, while the remaining individuals searched the house for money.
Nabo seized an opportunity to wrestle one of the robbers to the ground and shouted for help from his sons who lived nearby. His sons, Zardasht and Ismail, rushed to the scene and apprehended the robber, who fired two shots at Ismail but missed. Ismail disarmed the assailant and fired two shots into the air, causing the other three armed individuals to flee, while the fourth was held by the Kurdish family.
The villagers subsequently arrived at the scene, along with the intelligence officer of Rajo Police, known as “Abu Maher,” who hails from the town of Al-Houla in Homs. Abu Maher requested that the robber not make any confessions in front of the villagers, fearing exposure of the involvement of militia leaders in the robbery and other crimes.
The Ninth Division militia in Mamala village is led by Mustafa Abu Jalal, a resident of Darat Izza town in western Aleppo countryside.
