afrinpost– Exclusive

Turkish-affiliated militia elements continue to sell the homes of citizens while violations and seizures of the properties of the original Kurdish inhabitants of the Afrin region persist.

According to our reporter in the city, a member of the “Suleiman Shah / Al-Amshat” militia sold the house of citizen “Abdul Rahman Mohammed”, who is from the village of Shetana / Al-Rahmaniya in the Mobata district, located near Bilal Mosque in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, to an IDP from the countryside of Hama for $1,200.

In addition, a member of the military police militia, named “Ahmad Al-Jassem” from the town of al-Sabina in the countryside of Damascus, sold the forcibly displaced citizen’s house, “Khabat Rashid,” to one of his relatives for $800.

This marks the third time his two-room house near al-Ashrafieh Park in the occupied city of Afrin has been sold.
