Intense Clashes Between Afrin Liberation Forces and Turkish-backed Militias in Afrin countryside

Yesterday evening, forces from the liberation of Afrin engaged in violent clashes with militias from the Turkish-affiliated “National Front for Liberation” and the “Faylaq al-Sham”. The clashes took place on the axes of the villages of Mazen and Bashmara in the Sherawa sub-district of occupied Afrin countryside, using heavy machine guns, Shilka vehicles, and mortar shells, according to our reporter in the region.

The reporter stated that the intense clashes lasted for about two hours and involved the use of various heavy and medium weapons. However, there is currently no information available regarding the extent of damage or human casualties on either side.

Additionally, the Syrian regime army shelled the village of Maarat Aliya and the Kabina mountains in the northern countryside of Latakia this morning with heavy artillery.
