“Al-Amshat” and “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” on high alert in Afrin

afrinpost – Exclusive

The occupied city of Afrin witnessed, this evening, February 2, a massive military alert of the Turkish-supported “Suleiman Shah / Al-Amshat” militia and members of the “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” organisation against the backdrop of preventing a military convoy of the “Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic Movement” from passing the checkpoints of the “Al-Jabha Al-Shamia” militia in the occupied city of Azaz towards the city Jarablus in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

Our reporetr indicated that the “Ahrar al-Sham” Salafist militant group brought today large military reinforcements from Idlib governorate towards the city of Jarablus, in order to reinforce its military bases in the village of Hamran in the countryside of Jarablus, after receiving information and leaks about the meeting of the Turkish forces with a number of leaders of the “National Army” militia to conduct an operation ‘Military action’ against the “Ahrar al-Sham Movement” militia for its refusal to hand over the Hamran crossing to the so-called Ministry of Defense of the Syrian Interim Government.

The reporter explained that a meeting was held this evening between the leaders of the “National Army” militia in the occupied city of Mare’ to study the status of the “Ahrar al-Sham Movement” militia and how to expel it from the so-called “Euphrates Shield” area with the support of the Turkish forces.

On the other hand, the Al-Majadmeh clan of al-Jabbour tribe demanded, in a video circulated on social media, the leaders of the “Ahrar al-Sham Movement” militia to take revenge for one of the clan’s members called “Saddam al-Musa Abu Uday,” who was one of its leaders and was killed on January 25, 2023, in an air raid of the Turkish forces with a Bayraktar reconnaissance plane, according to evidence in the possession of the militia.

According to the video statement, the members of the al-Majadmeh clan indicated that the so-called “Abu Uday” was “killed treacherously and unjustly at the hands of the Turkish traitors,” and that if the “Ahrar al-Sham Movement” militia failed to take revenge, then “the sons of the al-Majadamah clan are excused before God and before everyone for their actions against the killers.. Forewarned is forearmed”.
