Turkish intelligence arrested person for “covering up” PYD member’s properties

Reliable sources from Afrin reported that the Turkish intelligence forces arrested on January 19, 2023, the citizen “Ali Rashid Omar” (40 years old), from his house near Maysalun School in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, on charges of covering up properties belong to a member of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), which formerly controlled the city.

On January 18, 2023, a joint patrol of Turkish intelligence and the military police militia in Afrin arrested the citizen “Muhammad Rashid Hesso” (30 years old) on charges of performing compulsory military service, and the citizen “Farman Saado” (29 years old) on charges of working in the formerly “Autonomous Administration” institutions, according to our reporter.

It is worth noting that the two citizens are from Jinderes district, they were residing in Istanbul, and the Turkish authorities forcibly deported them two months ago to northern Syria.
