Ongoing illegal sales of seized houses in Syria’s Afrin

Reliable sources told afrinpost that 9 seized houses in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood in Afrin has been illegally sold by IDPs and militants loyal to Turkey, during the past week.

One of the sold houses belongs to the popular singer ‘Hakim Kalo’, located in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood on Terenda road, was sold by an IDP from the town of Hayan in the Aleppo countryside to another IDP from Damascus countryside for $1,300.

On January 22, the so-called “Ahmed Al-Sayed,” who hails from Al-Firdous neighborhood in Aleppo, sold two apartments he had seized in a residential building on the Terenda raid, one of them belongs to the widow “Qudret Abdo” and the other to the citizen “Bahri Omar”, for $ 750 for each apartment, and then moved to live in Al-Mahmoudiyah neighborhood.

Another IDP, who is a member of Maroush family from the town of Ratyan in the countryside of Aleppo and a member of the Turkish-backed “Al-Hamza Division” militia, sold two houses in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood. One of which belongs to the citizen “Mahmoud Abdo”, and the other is for the citizen “Siham Al-Ahmad”, for $900 for each house.

As well as, the IDP “Ahmed Ghazi,” who hails from Ghouta, Damascus, sold four apartments for $800 each to his relatives from Damascus countryside. Among them are the IDP “Mohsen Abu Reda,” and “Yasser Odeh.”
