Pro-Turkey “Al-Hamzat” militants detain citizens from Bulbul, Afrin

Our reporter in Afrin said that the Turkish-backed “Al-Hamzat” militia had detained on November 26, 2022 two citizens from the town of Bulbul, namely: “Taher Muhammad Amr” (42 years old) and “Shiyar Musa Amr” (30 years old). Back then, the militants handed the detained citizens over to the military police militia in the district.

On the other hand, theTurkish-backed “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia released the citizen “Nuri Muhammad” from al-Barazi’s Family, yesterday evening, Sunday. Nuri, who is a street vendor, was kidnapped by them on Friday, December 9, because he refused to give them cigarettes for free.

The militia released him after they seized his goods and forced him to pay $200, in addition, they rented his the stall to an IDP from Ghouta loyal to them.

The militants, who kidnapped him, are defected from “Jaysh al-Islam” militia and lately joined the “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia, after the “Jaysh al-Islam” militia was pursued by the terrorist organization “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” and expelled from the occupied Afrin region.
