A number of al-Muntasir Billah militia members were wounded this evening, Monday, October 31, in addition to the injury of an IDP from the city of Hama due to the violent clashes with heavy and medium weapons between al-Muntasir Billah militia on the one hand and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham militants in the village of Sariya in Mobata/Mabatli district in the occupied countryside of Afrin.
Our reporter indicated that a public security patrol affiliated with Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, led by the Iraqi “Abu Abdullah al-Iraqi”, raided this evening several houses in the village of Sariya, in search of wanted persons loyal to Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya militia, accused of drug trafficking and hiding among the residents of the village, which led to violent clashes between the two parties.
The violent clashes resulted in the injury of a number of Al-Muntasir Billah militiamen, in addition to the injury of an IDP from Hama, called “Mohammed Khalif Hassan.”, the reporter added.
It is worth noting that the militia of Sultan Suleiman Shah “Al-Amshat” sent large military reinforcements towards the village of Sariya to support the elements of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, in repelling the elements of “Al-Muntasir Billah”. During which, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham managed to capture a number of militants, in addition to a number of IDPs loyal to Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya militia, taking them to an unknown destination.
