The royalties imposed by the Turkish-backed militias on the olive fields do not stop under the pretext of protecting the crop, to impose additional royalties on oil production on every house in the villages they control, regardless of the bad financial situation of the people and the season.

Our reporter in Dike village stated that Faylaq Al-Sham militia imposed in-kind royalty on olive oil there, as every house in the village is now forced to give two cans (16 liters) of olive oil to the militia, with the exception of four houses that double royalties amounting to 4 cans were imposed on them.

In the village of Brimja in the Mobata / Maabatli district, the “Muhammad al-Fateh” militia also imposed an in-kind royalty on olive oil, at the rate of two cans of olive oil on the villagers. The militia imposed the same royalties on the villagers of Maamla village too.
