Today morning, the airspace of al-Shahba regions witnessed a flight of Russian reconnaissance aircraft hours after the Turkish warplanes targeted the region with five raids, as part of an air military operation launched by the Turkish army at midnight last night against the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, under the pretext of targeting the planners of the Istanbul bombing.
The Turkish military planes have hit the villages of Bailuniya, Ain Daqna and Mara’naz, the outskirts of the city of Tall Rifat and Menagh airport, and as a result, casualties were reported among the Syrian regime army as its military point in the village of Al-Shawarga was targeted, where ten soldiers were killed and 5 others were wounded, and the Kurdish fighter Rukan Jamal Ali, (from the village of Qibarieh, Afrin) was also killed as a result of the Turkish bombing of the village of Baylouniyeh, in addition to the injury of three other fighters of the Afrin Liberation Forces, according to our reporter in the region.
It is noteworthy that the Turkish warplanes also bombed sites in the cities of Kobani, Ain Issa, Derbasiyah, and Derik, in the far east of Syria, bringing the total number of raids to about twenty, leaving dead and injured in the ranks of the Syrian Democratic Forces, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
