130 olive trees logged in Ister and Qurtqulaq villages, Afrin

With the approach of winter and the increase in the demand for firewood, the pace of logging olive trees increases in order to trade in firewood, whose prices exceed one hundred dollars per ton.

Our reporter stated that unknown persons logged last Wednesday, November 16, 75 olive trees from a field located near the Afrin River in the village of Ister.

Also, in the village of Qurtqulaq / al-Dib al-Kabeer in the Sharan district, 55 olive trees were logged in a location near the forest, knowing that the field is owned by the Kurdish citizen, Renas Hanan, the reporter added.
